IOWA HALL OF FAME & RACING MUSEUM

2020-2021 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Held on November 13, 2021

Our 2020-2021 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held on Saturday, November 13th at the Briggs Woods Conference Center in Webster City.  We had to wait an extra year to celebrate and we hope it was worth the wait for our seventeen Hall of Fame Inductees.  The newest Hall of Fame Class includes John Sloan, Al DeCarlo, Ray Guss Jr., Don Hoffman, Mel Kenyon, Wayne Larson, Stacy Redmond, Bill Rice, Gene Schattschneider, Mike Smith, Jack Housby, Keith Simmons, Morris “Beetle” Bailey, Dean Malone, Larry Schultz, Marty Pringle and Mark Bacon.  We all enjoyed a night sharing racing stories, reminiscing about the good ‘ole days, and honoring this group of Iowa racing legends.

It also takes an enthusiastic team with passion and respect to put together this very special celebration for the legends and heroes who have made such a huge impact on racing in Iowa.  The Board of Directors would like to thank the following “pit crew” members for being such an important part of this ceremony:  Arnold Motor Supply – Fort Dodge, Dan Corrow, Brennen DeCoursey and Raya Lehan, Karlee DeCoursey, Paul DeCoursey, Brant and Tina Farrand, Todd Foster, Dick and Crystal Griffith, Karl Chevrolet – Webster City, Phill #99 Kennon, Curt and Lisa Miller, Burke Plain, Larry Schultz – Storm Lake Honda, Marji Smith, Brandon Toftee, Nick Woolley – 15belowphoto, Choice Printing – Fort Dodge and the Staff of Briggs Woods Conference Center.

We are currently accepting nomination forms for the 2022 Hall of Fame Class.  Nomination forms can be found under the Hall of Fame tab on our website or can be mailed to you by request.  Nominations are due by March 31, 2022 and our 2022 Hall of Fame Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 13th at the Briggs Woods Conference Center.
