We are excited to be hosting several special events this summer!
July 2nd – July 6th – We are offering extended hours for the 4th of July holiday weekend. We will be open from 10 am – 4 pm daily!
July 10th – July 13th – Algona Founders’ Day Celebration! We will be open July 10th-July 11th from 10 am – 4 pm and July 12th-July 13th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Pick up your Museum Passport Punch Card at one of Algona’s three museums, visit all three museums and enter your card for a chance to win $25.00 in Algona Chamber bucks. There are many special activities planned throughout the town during this weekend!
July 24th – Salute to Veterans Race. We will be open 9 am – 7 pm. Visit our museum during the day and stay for the races at the Kossuth County Speedway as we honor our country’s veterans.
July 29th – August 3rd – Kossuth County Fair! We will be open from 12 pm – 8 pm daily.
August 23rd – Cruise the Museum! Cruise in with your favorite set of wheels and tour the museum from 9 am – 4 pm. Food trucks will be serving all day!
September 21 – City of Algona Car Show downtown. We will be open from 12 pm – 5 pm.
We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm – 4 pm unless otherwise noted.
